Schooley’s Mountain County Park

Schooley’s Mountain County Park is a natural retreat situated on 823 acres, offering a wide range of ways to spend the day indoors and out. More than seven miles of trails wind through the park, welcoming hikers, cyclists, and equestrians to explore forested paths and open stretches of scenic landscapes. Picnic areas, athletic fields, and fishing spots add to the park’s appeal.

The park is also a beautiful setting for weddings and special events. The Lodge and Boathouse offer scenic backdrops for any occasion and are available to rent by reservation. Together, the park’s natural setting and well-planned facilites make it the perfect place for everyday recreation and meaningful milestones in the New Jersey Highlands.
