Pohatcong Native Arboretum

Pohatcong Native Arboretum is a public sanctuary inspired by Native American traditions that celebrates local roots. The arboretum features native woody plants organized by botanical family, woven together with Indigenous design elements, forested wetlands, and quiet paths for exploration. A historic log cabin on site houses an art gallery, adding a creative layer to the experience. Together, nature, culture, and community create a thoughtful place to slow down and connect with the nature and history of the NJ Highlands.
