Raptor Trust Center

The Raptor Trust Center is a nationally recognized leader in the rehabilitation and conservation of wild birds, with a special focus on birds of prey. Located near the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, the center plays a vital role in caring for injured and orphaned birds while advancing public understanding of wildlife and habitat protection.

Visitors are welcome to walk the grounds and observe hawks, eagles, falcons, and owls living in outdoor aviaries, many of whom serve as ambassadors for their species. In addition to rehabilitation work, the center offers educational programs that highlight the importance of conservation and coexistence with wildlife. Open year-round to receive injured birds, The Raptor Trust provides a meaningful opportunity to connect with nature while learning about the remarkable birds that share the NJ Highlands landscape.
