Jenny Jump State Forest

Jenny Jump State Forest offers a rugged, rewarding climb through the rolling terrain of the Jenny Jump Mountain Range in Warren County. A narrow trail leads to sweeping views across the NJ Highlands, with the Kittatinny Mountains and Valley stretching to the west and the open expanse of the Great Meadows to the east. Along the way, rocky outcroppings and scattered boulders hint at the glaciers that once shaped the landscape. Overnight camping is available onsite for a fee. For those willing to make the ascent, the forest delivers perspective, quiet, and a powerful sense of place.
