The Wagner Farm Arboretum spans nearly 93 acres of open land designed to connect people with the natural world. Set on rolling terrain in the Watchung Mountains near the Passaic River, the arboretum is thoughtfully planted to support trees, native plants, pollinators, and wildlife. Visitors of all ages can take part in classes, events, and volunteer opportunities, or simply enjoy time outdoors.
Often described as a “green lung” for the surrounding community, Wagner Farm is also a place of giving and growth. Its Giving Garden has donated more than 86,000 pounds of fresh produce to those in need, while the Children’s Garden invites hands-on exploration in a safe, welcoming setting. A Community Garden offers rental plots for gardeners interested in growing fruits, vegetables, and flowers using organic practices, making the arboretum both a shared landscape and a shared purpose.
