Oxford Mountain Natural Resource Area is a 349-acre preserve in the Town of Oxford and a standout stop along the Warren Highlands Trail. Trails weave through forested hillsides, creating a rewarding setting for hiking, biking, photography, and seasonal hunting (permit required). As you explore, you’ll also come across traces of the property’s former life as a mining landscape, subtle remnants tucked among the trees that add an unexpected layer of story to the scenery. The Shippen Manor Museum is also located here for those who want to go deeper into history’s story.
